Kimo is a Native Hawaiian with an extensive and varied professional background that encompasses military service, law enforcement, emergency management, disaster relief, and a successful aviation career. He holds degrees in Airport Operations and Management, Emergency Management, and Disaster Relief. His educational focus includes understanding terrorism, leadership, tactical operations, planning, cultural awareness, and advisory techniques.
Kimo has collaborated closely with Don McDowell on the Don McDowell Outdoor Sports Radio show, which is broadcast on FOX Sports and iHeart Radio. His segment, titled “Coffee & Chaos,” featured Kimo K alongside Matt Brown.
His diverse background has instilled in him a profound appreciation for firearms, leading to a commitment to educating others about the safety and responsibilities associated with firearm ownership. Recently, Kimo has achieved a long-standing personal aspiration by establishing and designing a brand of AR rifles. This endeavor was made possible through the support of dedicated individuals, including fellow veterans and law enforcement officers, and encouragement from his good friend, Isaac Curtis. Montana 406 Rifle Hui Hui specializes in producing custom-built AR-15 platform rifles and is expanding its offerings to include suppressors. At M406RHH, we strive daily to meet and exceed the expectations of our local communities, the broader state of Montana, and our clients nationwide, while providing them with essential tools and resources.
With two decades of experience in weapons training, Kimo continuously enhances his expertise through nationally recognized & accredited organizations where he has been recognized as a firearms specialist and certified firearms instructor. His training encompasses various disciplines, including practical pistol and carbine courses, and precision rifle, and he is currently getting certified in both tactical and law enforcement firearms instructor.
